Job summary

Volkswagen of Fallston, a Sonic Automotive family dealership, is seeking an Associate Service Advisor in Fallston, MD. You will schedule service appointments, greet customers, and obtain essential vehicle and customer data for accurate estimates.

You will communicate progress to customers, review changes in estimates, ensure authorizations for additional work, and maintain high customer-satisfaction metrics.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a dealership position.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Professional personal appearance.

Responsibilities

• Schedules service appointments and obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner.
• Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts; establishes promised time.
• Checks progress of repair and notifies customers of changes; explains costs and time requirements.
• Test-drives the vehicle or refers to the test technician as necessary.
• Maintains Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) at least comparable to manufacturer/branch average.
