Job summary

Auto Plus in Augusta is seeking a team member to be the first contact for customers, both on the phone and in person, and to drive sales of automotive parts and services.

You will manage appointments, explain processes, and maintain accurate transactions while upholding company standards and safety guidelines. A valid driver's license and at least one year in automotive service are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• One year of related experience in the automotive service environment.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Must have basic knowledge and understanding of mathematical concepts for commissions and discounts.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for customers on the phone and in the store.
• Engage customers, schedule appointments, understand needs, communicate processes and timelines, and sell parts and service.
• Organize and manage service work orders and register transactions.
• Follow policies for cash, credit, check, refunds and returns with management support.
• Conduct routine express automotive services and safety checks.
• Ensure safety procedures and proper wheel torque and oil/service intervals are followed.
• Communicate effectively with associates, management, and customers; open/close responsibilities where needed.
• Maintain an organized and neat shop; adhere to all company policies and safety rules.
