Job summary

Blain’s Farm & Fleet is seeking a Service Advisor to perform automotive services in a timely, customer-focused environment. Associates will be trained to achieve Level I status and provide quality service.

This role supports sales, uses the LOF oil changes, tires, batteries, and communicates work orders; benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must have great communication skills.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior auto repair experience is preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with purchases in a customer service and sales focused environment.
• Use computers to check inventory and arrival dates; set up work orders and schedule service.
• Explain work orders and invoices to customers.
• Perform Retail Cashier duties by processing customer payments.
• Install batteries, balance wheels, repair and install tires when required.
• Perform oil changes using LOF procedures when required.
• Follow Loss Prevention and safety policies and procedures.
• Interpret vehicle inspection results and make service recommendations.
