Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of sales or customer service experience.
• General mechanical knowledge gained through work experience or education.
• Strong communication and customer relations skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver's license and strong driving record.
• Auto dealership service writing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and determine which vehicle services are needed.
• Act as liaison between technicians and customers to explain work required.
• Review customer vehicle records and assess if additional services are needed.
• Provide accurate cost and time estimates and obtain approval.
• Monitor service status and keep customers informed on progress.
• Book and close repair orders promptly.
• Arrange loaner vehicles when needed.
• Follow up on back-ordered parts and schedule returns.
