Job summary

Penske Buick GMC of Cerritos in Cerritos, CA, is seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to sell new/used vehicles at dealership standards and achieve gross profit, volume and guest satisfaction.

The role is 100% on-site with a base hourly rate plus commission, and monthly earnings estimated from $2,577 to $20,973 depending on performance. Prior automotive sales experience is preferred; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of vehicle leasing principles; basic mathematical concepts (such as percentages).
• Read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Generates business through daily business traffic and outside sources.
• Assists guests as they enter the dealership showroom or sales lot.
• Assists guests in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to the guest’s responses.
• Closes sales by overcoming objections and negotiating price.
• Maintains an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to guest satisfaction.
• Performs other administrative duties as assigned by management.
