You will train staff, set objectives, monitor performance, merchandise vehicles, and collaborate with other departments to sustain exceptional service and growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED with 4–5 years auto sales experience.
• 1–2 years of college with 1–2 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred associate or bachelor’s degree (B.A.) with 1–2 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales staff and provide training to improve sales programs’ development and control.
• Set annual and monthly objectives for unit sales and gross profits.
• Monitor salesperson productivity and performance.
• Display, merchandise, and promote new and used vehicles.
• Review market analyses and sales reports.
• Act as a liaison between the sales department and other departments.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Attend required managers meetings.
• Assist in developing improvement programs for salespeople facing challenges in meeting their objectives.
• Read and comprehend job-related instructions and information, whether electronic or paper based.
