Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of Chantilly is seeking a Sales Manager to lead the vehicle sales team, plan short and long-term goals, and ensure customer-focused operations. You will manage sales, trade-ins, deliveries, and inventories while maintaining showrooms and meeting profit targets.

The role requires motivating staff, training, and adherence to company policies, with flexibility for variable hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; BA or Associate degree a plus.
• Two-three years' sales experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Valid state driver's license; state salesperson license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Motivate, train, and maintain professional sales staff for customer interactions.
• Manage trade-ins, sales, and delivery; maintain vehicle and sales logs.
• Use appropriate management procedures to achieve gross and net profit targets.
• Establish sales quotas aligned with staff capabilities.
• Oversee operations for new and used vehicles; ensure showroom appeal.
• Prepare reports for the General Manager and meet revenue/expense goals.
• Attend required training and uphold company policies.
