Job summary

Morrie's Auto Group in Golden Valley, MN, seeks a seasoned sales leader to head the Buy Happy sales team. You will drive profitability across front-end operations, mentor Sales Consultants, and coordinate with the Service and Finance teams to optimize the customer journey.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in dealership sales and management, a college degree in business or related field, strong leadership and communication skills, experience with CDK systems, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of dealership sales and management experience.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to understand profit and loss statements.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a large, diverse staff and make difficult decisions.
• CDK System experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Buy Happy sales team through the sales process, including follow-up and escalations.
• Plan and develop short and long-term goals for the team annually.
• Drive profitability in front-end operations to meet monthly volume and gross profit targets.
• Coordinate with manufacturers on incentives, rebates, and inventory balance.
• Assist the GM in sales meetings and train Sales Consultants; coordinate vehicle deliveries with Service.
• Improve daily operations and resolve customer complaints; ensure adherence to policies.
• Recruit, interview, and develop the Buy Happy selling team.
