Job summary

Purdy Group’s Huntsville Toyota dealership in Huntsville, TX is seeking motivated Sales Consultants to join its customer-focused team. You will greet customers, identify vehicle needs, guide through selection, test drives, and purchase, while explaining features and options to ensure satisfaction.

You will build lasting relationships, manage leads in the CRM, and collaborate with management, finance, and service to deliver a polished, hospitality-driven experience and meet dealership goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in automotive sales, retail sales, customer service, or hospitality preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally.
• Assist customers in identifying vehicle needs through active listening and consultative selling.
• Guide customers through the vehicle selection, demonstration, test drive, and purchase process.
• Explain vehicle features, warranties, and available options.
• Build long-term customer relationships for repeat business and referrals.
• Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction throughout all stages of the sales process.
• Manage dealership-provided leads and develop self-generated opportunities.
• Maintain timely follow-up through the dealership CRM system.
• Respond promptly to internet inquiries, phone calls, and customer communications.
• Maintain organized records of customer interactions, appointments, and sales activities.
• Collaborate with management, finance, service, and other departments to ensure a seamless experience.
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and timely.
• Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attendance.
