Job summary

Ports America is seeking a Director, Auto RoRo Commercial in Morristown, NJ to lead development and execution of the Auto RoRo commercial strategy. You will strengthen senior-level relationships with key customers, collaborate with Regional GMs and operations leaders, and drive opportunities from early-stage interest to formal commercial pursuits.

The role requires deep Auto RoRo knowledge, proven ability to influence across stakeholders, and regular travel (approximately 50% domestically, 1–2

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, transportation, maritime studies or related field.
10+ years of progressive Auto RoRo, stevedoring, marine terminal ops or related industry.
Experience in labor-based operating environments with operations leadership.
P&L or pricing and contract economics experience.
Ability to build relationships with customers, partners and senior stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with key Auto RoRo customers.
Partner with Ports America leaders to strengthen retention, customer satisfaction and long-term account value.
Support and execute commercial strategy; translate priorities into opportunities.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Auto RoRo.
Assist in pricing, proposals, contract discussions, and negotiations.
Coordinate quarterly meetings with regional leaders to review KPIs and risks.
Utilize performance data and customer feedback to improve service and commercial outcomes.
Travel ~50% domestically and 1-2 international trips annually.
