Job summary

Ports America Shared Services, Inc. seeks a Director, Auto RoRo Commercial to lead development and execution of the Auto RoRo strategy, strengthening relationships with ocean carriers, shipping lines and strategic partners.

You will coordinate with regional leadership, influence pricing and contracts, and drive opportunities across the commercial cycle. The role emphasizes operations alignment, deep industry knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance customer value and long-term

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, transportation, maritime studies or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive Auto RoRo, stevedoring, marine terminal operations or automotive logistics experience.
• Experience in a labor-based operating environment and partnering with operations leadership.
• P&L or financial management experience and understanding of pricing and contracts.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with customers, industry partners and senior stakeholders.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data analysis to identify trends and performance gaps.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with key Auto RoRo customers and strategic partners.
• Partner with Ports America leaders to strengthen retention, satisfaction and long-term account value.
• Support Auto RoRo commercial strategy through customer engagement and market activity.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build market intelligence, advance opportunities to formal pursuits.
• Assist in pricing, proposal development, contract discussions, negotiation and closing.
• Coordinate quarterly meetings with regional leadership to review relationships, KPIs and priorities.
• Use performance data to identify opportunities to improve service delivery and commercial outcomes.
