CarMax Edison is seeking an Auto Repair Specialist I to perform diagnostics, mechanical and cosmetic repairs on customer and internal vehicles. You will ensure safety and quality standards while delivering excellent customer service. The role offers growth through training and supportive CarMax leadership.

Responsibilities include diagnosing vehicle issues, maintaining accurate repair orders, and complying with EH&S requirements. ASE certifications are expected where required by state law.

Qualifications

• Able to read, interpret, and transcribe data for records.
• Readiness to perform diagnostics and repairs in a fast-paced store environment.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Must meet state/local licensing requirements for ASE certifications where applicable.

Responsabilités

• Perform accurate diagnostics and mechanical/cosmetic repairs on vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles to meet CarMax Quality Standards and complete state inspections when required.
• Manage repair orders with accurate labor, parts, and billing data.
• Use proprietary and universal software systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace per 5S and safety protocols.
• Provide leadership to support associates and managers across the store.
