Qualifications

• Strong customer service, organizational, verbal, and written skills are required.
• Basic personal computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Bachelor’sDegree from a four-year college or university required and/or 2-4 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and interpret policy provisions to determine coverage for auto property claims.
• Identify and investigate contested coverage claims with recommendations for the coverage committee.
• Interview claimants and witnesses; secure records and loss scene information for liability assessment.
• Negotiate and settle claims within authority; escalate to supervisor as needed.
• Maintain follow-up on pending files and advise insureds on claim status.
• Support vendors and customers while ensuring privacy guidelines are met.
