Genuine Parts Company’s NAPA Retail team is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to blend automotive know-how with sales and store operations. You will support the Store Manager across counter sales, inventory, receiving, delivery coordination, and housekeeping while maintaining active customer-facing responsibilities.

This role emphasizes leadership development, coaching of team members, and continuous improvement in safety, asset protection, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in the automotive after-market service industry or willingness to learn.
• Leadership experience.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• ASE Certifications a plus.
• Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with daily operations and sales execution.
• Oversee inventory health, receiving, and order fulfillment.
• Coordinate deliveries and maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Lead and coach team members; monitor performance and safety.
• Open/close routines and cash reconciliation.
