Genuine Parts Company, via its NAPA store, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to apply automotive knowledge and leadership to operate the retail store and drive market dominance. You will support the Store Manager across all functions while maintaining active customer-facing sales responsibilities.

This role develops into Store Manager leadership with overtime and keyholder duties as needed, contributing to safety, continuity and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school courses or degree completion.
• Experience in automotive after-market service or willingness to learn.
• Leadership experience.
• Customer care focus and relationship building.
• Able to lift 60 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner daily with Store Manager on operations, sales, inventory, labor and team performance.
• Actively sell and build customer relationships across channels (in-store, phone, external calls).
• Oversee opening/closing routines, security, cash reconciliation, end-of-day reporting.
• Coach and develop employees; monitor store metrics and safety.
• Lead delivery coordination, ordering, receiving, stocking as needed.
