Job summary

NAPA in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Parts Professional to deliver prompt, courteous service in-store, on the phone, or at the dealer’s shop. You will look up parts in catalogs or the POS system and process orders with accuracy.

The role requires knowledge of products, warranties, sales programs, and store policies, and you will advise customers on the best parts while supporting other store staff. ASE Parts Specialist certification and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or equivalent, required.
• Establish and maintain good relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional service.
• Be able to recognize part numbers and line codes to ensure proper selection and delivery of parts.
• Be ASE Parts Specialist (automotive) certified and able to operate a vehicle with a manual transmission.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous service to customers over the telephone, in the store, or in the dealer’s shop.
• Look up the parts application in catalogs or POS system and process orders with accuracy and efficiency.
• Advise customers on how best meet their needs and resolve technical questions.
• Demonstrate knowledge of products, warranties, sales programs, and operating policies; assist store personnel as a resource.
