Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts in Fayette County seeks a Parts Professional to deliver prompt, courteous service to customers in-store, on the phone, and at the dealer’s shop. You will look up part applications in catalogs or the POS system, process orders with accuracy, and advise customers on the best solutions for their needs.

You will maintain part knowledge, assist store staff, and support training as needed, while upholding store policies and a high standard of customer care.

Qualifications

• Provide courteous, efficient service to customers in person, over the phone, or via email.
• Identify and verify part numbers and line codes to ensure correct parts are delivered.
• Demonstrate knowledge of products, warranties, sales programs, and store policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess their needs, demonstrating product knowledge.
• Process sales orders accurately using the catalog or POS system.
• Assist other store personnel and support training as needed.
• Maintain POS proficiency and ensure accurate pricing and asset security.
• Handle stock orders and report overages/shortages/damaged merchandise.
• Keep a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management.
