Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-quality service to retail and installer customers and to support store management in achieving daily goals.

You will greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, process payments, exchanges, and returns, and maintain accurate cash handling and security.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in their selection of merchandise.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent service to customers calling the store on the phone and quote prices.
• Maintain and secure the cash drawer, process payments and handle cash/credit transactions.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with stock updates, planogram updates, and freight receival; stocking shelves and cleaning.
• Perform daily operational tasks including merchandise returns to distribution center and inventory counts.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
