Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide high-level service to retail and installer customers and to support store management in achieving tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and you may assist professional customers as needed.

The role includes greeting customers, advising on merchandise, processing transactions, handling returns, and maintaining stock and planograms. Training, safety, and compliance are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Promote customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling).
• Assist professional customers and support store management as needed.
• Answer store phones, look up parts and quote prices, and offer related items.
• Process exchanges and returns per policy and resolve customer complaints.
• Maintain cash drawer and process transactions.
• Assist with stock updates, planogram updates, and inventory tasks.
• Operate store equipment after training and company requirements.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
