Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers while supporting store management with daily tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and will benefit from comprehensive training and opportunities for career growth.

You will greet customers, assist with product selection, handle transactions, and participate in inventory and store operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
• Familiar with automotive parts and sales/service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, etc.).
• Greet customers promptly and assist with merchandise selection.
• Support professional customers and installers as needed.
• Answer store phone calls according to policy, lookup parts and quote prices.
• Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions securely.
• Process exchanges/returns for credit per policies.
• Address and resolve customer complaints amicably.
• Assist with stocking, planogram updates, and daily store operations.
• Perform in-store services (e.g., wipers, batteries) as trained.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle as needed.
