Job summary

AutoNation in Cerritos, CA is seeking a Parts Retail Associate to help technicians and retail guests find the correct parts, price them, and ensure a smooth purchasing experience. You’ll stock inventory, keep the department organized, and create merchandising displays to promote sales.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1 year in automotive parts and 1 year of sales, plus strong communication and follow-up.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in an automotive parts department.
• One year of sales experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization and follow-up abilities.

Responsibilities

• Promptly meet and assist technicians and retail guests.
• Accurately price parts using the proper pricing source and transfer the information to the proper document and computer system.
• Answer telephone calls promptly, courteously, and satisfy the caller’s inquiries.
• Stock incoming inventory in the correct location and keep the department clean and orderly.
• Provide customers with needed information and offer additional sales opportunities.
• Create and maintain merchandising displays to promote product sales.
