Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support our DIY customers and help achieve store sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and sourcing from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic automotive knowledge or familiarity with car parts.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; ability to communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math for transactions and measurements.
• Flexible to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and over the phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and contribute to store targets.
• Perform DIY services like battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put-away, cycle counts, and back stock.
