Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help meet sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive and parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Basic automotive system knowledge and basic part knowledge.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and via phone.
• Meet personal sales goals and help store meet its sales targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
