Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring a Salesperson to support the DIY customer base and achieve sales/service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

The position can be part time or full time, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service, maintaining inventory, and performing basic DIY services such as battery installations and wiper replacements, while working a flexible

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to use delivery board system.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Ability to work varying shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet targets.
• Perform DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store inventory and operational standards.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
