Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business, provide customer service, and help meet sales targets in a retail setting.

The role requires basic automotive knowledge, ability to source from stores and suppliers, and working knowledge of store inventory and operating systems. It can be part time or full time, with fleet safety certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus) and communicate effectively.
• Read safety rules, maintenance instructions, catalogs, and manuals.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock.
