Job summary

Advance Auto Parts welcomes an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and parts familiarity to source from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

It may be part-time or full-time, with safety certification preferred. Responsibilities include excellent customer service, meeting sales goals, and providing DIY services like battery and wiper installations while maintaining inventory accuracy

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Basic automotive knowledge and store systems familiarity.
• Fleet safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and support store targets.
• Provide DIY services like battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including put away, counts, back stock.
