Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Defiance, OH, is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This position will also assume shift management in the absence of leadership.

Candidates should have strong communication skills and be willing to obtain RSS Certification; bilingual abilities are encouraged, with a comprehensive benefits package available from day one.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Preferred: Retail sales experience in auto parts.
• Preferred: Automotive systems knowledge.
• Preferred: ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders on time.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure.
