Job summary

Pick Your Part in Cincinnati is seeking a customer-focused associate to deliver a superior service experience to walk-in customers at the front counter.

You will identify vehicle parts using inventory software, process cash and card transactions at POS, coordinate with yard staff, and maintain displays while handling credits or warranty claims on returns.

Must be able to work weekends and maintain accurate, friendly service.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service background.
• Effective communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED; college coursework preferred.
• Two to three years of prior customer service relations preferred.

Responsibilities

• In-Person Sales: Provide immediate, high-quality service to all walk-in retail and wholesale customers.
• Parts Identification: Use inventory software to help customers find exact matches for their vehicles with the vehicles on-site.
• Sales: Actively manage the front counter area, processing cash and credit transactions using POS systems.
• Yard Coordination: Communicate directly with parts pullers to retrieve parts for customers that want the company to pull their parts for them
• Merchandising & Displays: Set up and maintain physical displays of popular parts (e.g., batteries, fluids, tools) to drive impulse sales.
• Core & Returns Management: Inspect physical parts returned by walk-in customers to verify condition and process credits or warranty claims
• Assumes other duties as assigned
