Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales objectives. You will assist customers in-store and by phone, perform basic automotive service tasks, and maintain accurate inventory and store standards.

The role requires basic knowledge of store systems, parts, and safety practices. It may be part-time or full-time with flexible hours, including weekends, and offers health benefits and opportunities to grow in a retail automotive

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
• Use basic math to perform unit conversions and calculations
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach overall sales targets
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Complete inventory tasks such as truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock
