Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales objectives. The role requires basic knowledge of store systems, automotive systems and parts, plus the ability to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers.

You will provide DIY services such as battery installation and testing, wiper installs, and maintain inventory standards while assisting customers and team members. This is a flexible role, part-time or full-time.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic automotive knowledge and ability to read parts catalogs.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Basic math and ability to use inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach its targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Stock shelves and back stock; deliver parts to customers when needed.
