Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of Midlothian, part of Murgado Automotive Group, is seeking a Parts Counterperson to assist customers and technicians with parts needs and to fulfill orders accurately.

The role requires a high school diploma, automotive parts experience (preferably Mercedes-Benz), and strong communication skills. Proficiency with CDK/Paragon and inventory software is expected. Valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in an automotive parts department, preferably with Mercedes-Benz.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems such as CDK and Paragon.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with parts catalog and inventory management software.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and technicians in identifying and locating the correct parts.
• Process parts orders efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain an organized and clean parts counter and storage area.
• Manage inventory levels and notify the parts manager of any shortages.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Process returns and warranty claims as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends.
