Job summary

GPC's NAPA counter sales associate role puts you at the face of the store, helping retail and wholesale customers with auto parts questions in person or over the phone.

You will use a computer, cash register, and catalog system; support teammates, deliver outstanding customer care, and bring energy to our fast-paced environment.

A High School diploma, valid driver’s license, and an enthusiasm for automotive parts are welcome; ASE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Love for fast-paced retail environments.
• Great listening skills and empathy for customers.
• Background or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, diesel, marine, or dealership is a plus.
• Experience with cataloging and/or inventory management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers at the counter or over the phone.
• Assist other team members in answering customer questions.
