Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a NAPA Counter Sales associate to be the face of the store, assisting customers with auto parts needs and answers at the counter and over the phone.

You will help teammates with parts questions, provide excellent customer care, and maintain a fast-paced, friendly retail environment while using POS/Catalog systems and ensuring a positive experience for every customer who walks in.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn auto parts
• High School Diploma or GED or technical/trade training
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Enjoy fast-paced retail environments
• Strong listening skills and empathy for customers

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person or over the phone
• Assist other team members with customer questions using parts knowledge
• Deliver outstanding customer care and positive interactions at the counter
• Contribute to a fast-paced, customer-focused store environment
• Welcome customers and create a positive consumer experience
• Operate POS, cash register, phone, and catalog systems
