Genuine Parts Company is seeking a NAPA Counter Sales associate to serve as the face of our retail stores, helping customers with auto parts and guidance. You will leverage parts knowledge to assist customers and teammates, delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates demonstrate a background in automotive parts, strong communication, and a willingness to learn all things auto parts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Knowledge of automotive parts and products is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to learn all things auto parts
• Experience in fast-paced retail environments is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for customers in person or over the phone
• Use parts knowledge to assist team members in answering questions
• Deliver outstanding customer care and positive store experiences
• Engage customers at the counter and maintain a high-energy atmosphere
• Utilize computer, cash register, phone, and paper catalog systems
