Job summary

YKTA in Madison, AL is seeking a Sales Specialist to support and train the sales team by performing several administrative tasks, including quotes, contracts, and RFP/RFI responses, while maintaining accurate pricing and configurations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong Microsoft Office skills, ERP experience (Plex preferred), and automotive OE account experience with Toyota or Mazda.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience or training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using an ERP, preferably Plex.
• Automotive OE account management experience, preferably with Toyota or Mazda.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safety of self and others by following all Safety Policies/Procedures and wearing all required PPE.
• Prepares quotes, contracts and RFP/RFI responses for customers.
• Maintains all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations.
• Maintains all sales demonstration tools and applications.
• Develops and delivers sales presentations in a professional and effective manner.
• Develops technical presentations for potential customers.
• Maintains up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends and government regulations.
• Attend supplier training as necessary with customers to maintain positive customer relations and compliance.
• Analyze complex technical information and data to provide accurate and timely responses to internal and external stakeholders.
• Accurately manage data in various formats for internal analysis and customer submissions
• Work independently to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders within a team.
• Regular attendance is required.
