Job summary

pridgeonandclay is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor to lead the production team, drive safety, quality, and costs, and partner with the management team to meet plant goals. You will plan production, monitor KPIs, manage scheduling, and coach staff to improve performance while upholding company quality policies.

The role requires an Associate degree or diploma, strong Lean/continuous improvement experience, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma or GED required, Associate's degree preferred.
• Experience leading teams in an industrial environment.
• Experience with hiring, performance appraisals, and disciplinary processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage detailed projects.
• Excellent professional attributes including self‑motivation and confidentiality.
• Ability to build effective work relationships.
• Knowledge of caliper and micrometer oversight.

• Scheduling and workforce planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production to meet shipping requirements and production targets.
• Participate in manpower planning and adjust for fluctuations.
• Coordinate with production schedulers to meet customer demand.
• Ensure accurate inventory through daily cycle counts.
• Contribute to safety, quality, and profit goals as part of management.
• Track key manufacturing metrics (runtime, setup, PPM, COQ, on-time PPAPs).
• Control supplies, overtime, scrap, efficiency, and inventory accuracy.
• Ensure documentation is completed on time by the team.
• Monitor perishables and develop lean replenishment methods.
