The ideal candidate will have a college degree or 5+ years of auto claims experience, strong negotiation, and excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to pass state licensing exams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of legal and medical terminology.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to pass state examinations to become a licensed adjuster.

Responsibilities

• Handle litigated and complex auto claims per procedures.
• Determine coverage and draft reservations of rights letters.
• Investigate by obtaining statements and relevant documents.
• Manage litigation with defense counsel and experts.
• Maintain diaries on open files and accurate records.
• Research case law to adjust and conclude claims.
