Qualifications

• College degree or 5 years of claims adjusting experience.
• Knowledge of legal and medical terminology.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to become licensed claims adjuster (state exam).

Responsibilities

• Handle litigated and/or complex injury claims from Personal Auto and Commercial Auto liability policies.
• Determine coverage and draft reservations of rights letters.
• Conduct prompt investigations with statements, police reports, medicals and appraisals.
• Manage litigation, coordinate with defense counsel and experts on defense cases.
• Maintain diaries on open files and document claim activity per regulations.
