Job summary

Safelite Group in Sandy, UT is seeking an Auto Glass Installation Technician Trainee. You will be paid to learn the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training, observing glovebox-to-glass installations, calibrations, and diagnostic testing.

Upon completion of the program, you’ll earn the Safelite SafeTech certification and gain skills to perform glass repair, replacement, and recalibrations with a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Be paid to learn through hands-on and classroom training.
• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services and products as needed.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles, tools, and chemicals.
