Job summary

Safelite in Weymouth, MA is seeking a Technician Trainee who will be trained to become a proficient auto glass technician, learning installation, repair, and recalibration techniques through hands-on and classroom programs.

Upon completion, you will earn the Safelite SafeTech certification, start earning competitive pay, and access benefits including medical plans, a 401(k) with company match, PTO, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18+ and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and follow technical directions.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in auto glass installation and repair.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostics.
• Provide additional services and products as needed.
• Study and pass tests to earn Safelite SafeTech certification.
• Safely operate company vehicles and tools throughout the day.
