Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Technician Trainee in Acton, MA to train as an auto glass technician. You will receive in‑house and classroom instruction, earn the Safelite SafeTech certification, and perform glass repair, replacement and recalibrations under supervision. The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and high-quality workmanship.

Starting pay is competitive, with a training period after which pay increases. Benefits include medical plans, 401(k), PTO, holidays, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required to operate a company vehicle.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and complete diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services and products to customers.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified technician.
• Safely operate company vehicles and tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies.
