Job summary

Safelite in the United States seeks a Technician Trainee who will be trained to become a proficient auto glass technician. You will learn on the job and through classroom training, earning the Safelite SafeTech certification.

After completing training, you will perform glass repair, replacement and recalibrations, while delivering quality service to customers and upholding Safelite's standards. This role includes paid training, tuition reimbursement, benefits, and opportunities to advance within

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/equivalent preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license to operate company vehicle required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services and products.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate company vehicles, tools and chemicals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
