Job summary

Safelite is looking for a Technician Trainee in the United States. You will be trained to become a proficient auto glass technician and earn the Safelite SafeTech certification after completing the program.

During training you will observe and assist with glass installation, calibrations, and safety-system checks while learning the Safelite approach and delivering quality customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required to operate a company vehicle.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn Safelite certification and perform calibrations.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services and products.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate company vehicles, tools and chemicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to policies.
