Job summary

GLS in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Area Sales Manager to expand the dealer network and promote GLS lending programs. You will sign new dealerships, nurture existing relationships, and drive program adoption across your territory.

Travel is extensive (up to 75%), with regular dealer visits, calls, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet growth objectives and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in auto finance
• Sales experience in auto industry preferred
• Knowledge of local market and relationships preferred

Responsibilities

• Educate dealers on lending programs and maximize the value of the programs
• Partner with operations to capture quality business and increase program utilization
• Build and expand the assigned territory by identifying and signing new dealerships
• Make regular dealer visits, cold calls, and take inbound calls to build relationships
• Maintain high-quality customer satisfaction and dealer retention
• Complete and submit documentation to track and assess goals
• Foster a collaborative culture to achieve business plan objectives
• Participate in special projects as needed
• Perform additional assignments as directed by management
• Must have 3 years' auto finance experience and auto industry sales experience
