Job summary

Capital One is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to lead a small team of Relationship Managers (Credit Buyers) and drive loan origination performance. You will monitor credit exceptions within policy and provide training to ensure adherence to sales processes.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
At least 2 years of Financial Services or B2B sales experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2+ years in indirect auto finance.
2+ years in credit underwriting.
3+ years in sales and marketing.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and develop a small team of Relationship Managers (Credit Buyers) to meet loan origination targets.
Monitor and approve credit exceptions within policy and credit level authority.
Provide training, coaching, and guidance on sales processes and collaboration.
Directly manage a territory of dealers, driving results through relationship building and negotiations.
Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and develop associates; give performance feedback.
Coordinate scheduling, coverage, and open communication across the team.
