Job Description

Responsible for creating or auditing damage estimates for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims in auto or specialty lines, leading to proper claim disposition. Duties include training, mentoring, quality control, and providing technical support on material damage claims.

This role is location-specific to Geneseo, NY. While remote work is possible, local presence in the Southern Tier Rochester and Buffalo, NY regions is required. Ideal candidates will have prior auto claims experience and an active New York adjuster license.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and audit damage estimates for all severities of 1st and 3rd party material damage losses
• Understand all policy types issued by the company
• Negotiate settlements, process payments, and document activities on complex files across multiple lines
• Review settlement options for regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
• Build strong relationships with internal and external customers across multiple lines

Education

• Preferred: 4-year Bachelor's Degree

Experience

• Preferred: 2+ years of relevant experience

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have supervisory duties.

Compensation

Hourly rate ranges from $19.59 to $37.88, based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation may include incentives such as bonuses or commissions.
