Job Description
Responsible for creating or auditing a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims in either the auto or specialty lines leading to the proper disposition. Responsible for training, mentoring, controlling quality and providing technical assistance on material damage claims.
Note: This role is location-specific to Geneseo, NY, and the ideal candidate will be based in that area. While the position is remote, local presence is required to provide support to the Southern Tier Rochester and Buffalo, NY regions. Preferred candidates will have prior experience handling auto claims and hold an active New York adjuster license.
4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
2 or more years of experience (Preferred)
This job does not have supervisory duties.
In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Base compensation offered for this role is $19.59 -$37.88 hourly and is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.
