Job summary

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is seeking an Estimator II to produce timely, precise reconditioning estimates for consigned vehicles across wholesale and retail channels. You will assess damage, document recommended repairs, and secure client approvals using Manheim’s proprietary tools to ensure consistency and quality.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with maintenance, reconditioning, and procurement teams, manage records, and support safety initiatives while delivering exceptional service

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and 3 years of experience, or any degree/cert and 1 year, or 5 years in related field.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs.
• Vision requirements and ability to drive various vehicle types.

Responsibilities

• Provides estimation services for an assigned auction area.
• Provides accurate reconditioning estimates for body, detail and mechanic services.
• Communicates estimates to maintenance, reconditioning and other teams to initiate work.
• Works with procurement/purchasing to ensure accurate pricing of parts and supplies.
• Monitors repair status, timelines, transportation and customer communications.
• Keeps records of repair/reconditioning details and completes paperwork.
• Follows safety procedures and participates in safety initiatives.

As an Estimator, you’ll be responsible for producing timely and precise estimates for reconditioning services on consigned vehicles for both wholesale and retail clients. You’ll assess vehicle damage, document recommended repairs, and collaborate with clients for approval. Estimates will be created using Manheim’s proprietary tools to ensure consistency and quality.

What You’ll Do

• Provides estimation services for an assigned auction area or areas.
• Provides accurate reconditioning estimates for body, detail and mechanic services.
• Communicates estimates to maintenance, reconditioning and other teams as required to initiate work.
• Works with procurement / purchasing staff to ensure accurate pricing of parts and supplies required by estimates.
• Monitors repair status, completion timelines, transportation and customer communications related to approved reconditioning estimates.
• Keeps records of repair / reconditioning details and completes necessary paperwork.
• Visibly demonstrates safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
• Actively participates in and support all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence

Minimum:
