Cox Automotive – Manheim, USA, is seeking an Estimator II to produce timely, precise reconditioning estimates for vehicles consigned for wholesale and retail clients. You will assess damage, document repairs, and secure client approvals using Manheim’s tools for consistency.

Responsibilities include coordinating with maintenance, vendors, and procurement to price and source parts, tracking progress, and maintaining records in compliance with policy.

Competenze

  • High school diploma or GED with 3 years related experience; or higher degree with 1 year experience; or 5 years related experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Vision abilities (near, distance, color, depth) and driving capability.

Mansioni

Compensation

Hourly base pay rate is $21.83 - $32.79/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Job Description

At Manheim (a Cox Automotive company), we’re hiring an Estimator II. Join a dynamic team where accuracy and efficiency drive client satisfaction. As an Estimator, you’ll be responsible for producing timely and precise estimates for reconditioning services on consigned vehicles for both wholesale and retail clients. You’ll assess vehicle damage, document recommended repairs, and collaborate with clients for approval. Estimates will be created using Manheim’s proprietary tools to ensure consistency and quality.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide estimation services for assigned auction locations, focusing on cosmetic (body) repairs and mechanical repairs to support client needs.
  • Deliveraccurateandtimelyestimates for reconditioning work, ensuring proper documentation for both cosmetic and mechanical services.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, reconditioning, vendor, and operations teams toinitiateapproved work and maintain smooth repair flow.
  • Work closely with vendors, parts suppliers, and procurement/purchasingstaff to verifyaccuratepricing, availability, and sourcing of required parts and materials.
  • Track repair progress,monitorcompletion timelines, and communicate updates with clients, transportation teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintaindetailed andaccuraterecords of repair estimates, approvals, and completed work in compliance with company policies.
  • Demonstratea strong commitment to safety by adhering to all safety guidelines and modeling safe behaviors.
  • Activelyparticipatein safety initiatives, team huddles, and process improvement activities aligned with Safety Excellence.

Minimum:

  • A high school diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in a related field; or any degree/certification beyond high school and 1 year of experience; or 5 years of experience in a related field.

Drug Testing

Benefits

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
