Job summary

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is seeking an Estimator II to provide accurate reconditioning estimates for vehicles in an auction setting and to coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely work.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with relevant experience, proficiency in MS Outlook/Word/Excel, and strong communication and customer service skills. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 3 years in related field, or higher degree with 1 year experience; or 5 years in related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Provide estimation services for an assigned auction area.
Provide accurate reconditioning estimates for body, detail and mechanic services.
Communicate estimates to maintenance, reconditioning and other teams as required to initiate work.
Work with procurement/purchasing staff to ensure accurate pricing of parts and supplies.
Monitor repair status, completion timelines, transportation and customer communications related to approved estimates.
Keep records of repair/reconditioning details and complete necessary paperwork.
Demonstrate safety commitment by following safety and health procedures and modeling related behaviors.
Participate in and support safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
